I posted Tyler's picture to start soccer season earlier. I can't leave out David! He is playing football again this year, after a try at soccer and a year off. He couldn't be happier! He was a good little soccer play in first grade, but he didn't have the passion for it that Tyler does. It was a good thing we took the year off of football though... as a kindergardener, David played flag football in Washington. He definitely had a head for the game and enjoyed it, but the whole "flag" concept was tough for him. After amassing 80 yards of penalties in one game and getting ejected from another (for "hitting" kids, which was really just him being way bigger than others his age), he was devastated. We decided that he'd have to wait until he was old enough to play tackle football before we did it again. And here we are! David is working very hard and shows a lot of natural ability. Games start this week, so Saturdays will definitely be fun times here in the mountains! David is proud to be a Brave!
